MyTeaRoom15 was born in 2015 out of a love for Indian Chai and a passion for sharing it with the world. Originally set up as an online store exporting Taiwan tea overseas, we quickly expanded into physical locations in popular night markets and the Hsinchu holiday flower market. Our Indian-style tea stalls quickly became a favorite among our customers, and we knew we had to open our own tea room. Fast forward to 2022, and our first branded tea room is now open in Hsinchu.
At MYTEAROOM15, our team is led by founder Manoj Shanker Arumugam. Manoj has a Master of Business Administration degree from Coventry University in England, and has worked in senior management positions across various sectors and countries. He brings his extensive experience and passion for tea to every aspect of the business.
Manoj is a certified tea expert with qualifications from the UK Tea Academy, Indian Tea Academy, Australian Tea Masters, World Tea Academy, and Taiwan Tea Academies. These credentials demonstrate his commitment to mastering the nuances of tea. His impressive qualifications also include being a judge for the International Food and Beverage competition (IAFBC) as well as possessing qualifications in Food Safety & Hygiene and Healthcare Advisory Programme from England.
His impressive background makes him invaluable to MyTeaRoom15. Manoj's passion for tea guides every aspect of our tea room, from selecting ingredients to crafting unique blends. Under his leadership, every cup reflects his expertise and passion.
